8th Biomass Trade & Power Europe

The 8th Biomass Trade & Power Europe Conference is set to take place in Copenhagen on February 25-26, 2025, serving as a key gathering for industry stakeholders focused on the future of biomass in the European energy landscape.

The agenda will address critical discussion topics such as the demand for industrial wood pellets post-2027, the economics of biomass production across various regions.  Participants will assess the progress in Bioenergy with Carbon Capture and Storage (BECCS) and delve into emerging markets beyond traditional power and heat, including biochar, biocoal, biocarbon, and Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF). The conference will also highlight the implications of sustainability requirements from the European Union Deforestation Regulation (EUDR) and the Renewable Energy Directive III (REDIII) on the biomass sector.
